Hermes Swarm
A CLI plugin for Hermes Agent that runs other coding agents as workers on a declared mission, plus a Tauri desktop app that owns their terminals.
The plugin runs the mission inside Hermes Agent, by Nous Research. It schedules tasks as a dependency graph, holds each finished task for review before the tasks that depend on it can start, passes messages through a mailbox, and starts and stops workers. Each external agent CLI sits behind a small adapter. There is no daemon, message broker or database.
The desktop app runs each worker’s terminal. The plugin talks to it over a Unix socket that only the current user can open, with a 64 KB cap per message. Each terminal can be switched between Hermes control and manual control.
Status
Prototype. The plugin is at version 0.3.0 and the desktop app at 0.1.0. Neither is published.
